We need more cucumber

A few entries ago I talked about the neccessity of diuretic function in the food that we consume.

"Diuretic is a catalyst to increase body metabolism and to break away fats and also increasing the rate of the fluid that body excretes"

A
diet that consist mainly of cucumber (not pickled one !) can lead into higher body metabolism, like Paris, which in turn will help breaking away your body fat and excess water.

Cucumber is also an abundant source of fiber and vitamin C, it can helps with your digestion and overall your body immune system.

Calories in Cucumber

  • five ounces of cucumber +/- 20 calories
  • half of a medium cucumber +/- 20 calories
  • 1 medium cucumber +/- 40 calories

Several diet sites always mention how delicious and refreshing cucumber is. But to be honest, I don't think it's delicious at all.

If I have to consume raw cucumber for diet, I don't think I can stand it for long.

One way to disguise the flavor of cucumber and turns it into a delicious one is by making it a salad.

Cucumber tastes better when in the Salad form.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Medium Cucumber
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Lettuce
  • 1 piece of Banana (don't pick the one that's too ripe)
  • Pepper
  • 2 cups of plain low fat yoghurt

Instructions:

  • Make sure you cool all the ingredients in refrigerator for 3 hours or more
  • Peel the cucumber and cut off both the end.
  • Chop the tomato, lettuce and banana.
  • Sprinkle all ingredients with pepper
  • Pour the yoghurt all over it

Now you have nice cucumber salad to enjoy your diet with.

Cucumber has turned into a delicious salad ingredients. And the best of all, the delicious salad
also contains calories negative ingredients that can help you losing more weight.

The recipe above is for 1 person only. Looks like we need more cucumber.

I am currently trying to meet the Canadian Health goal of a 35" waist for women, I have 2" to lose and although I have lost 7lb the waist is resistent. Probably poor muscles contribute to at well.
