For many years I have been impressed by the benefit of green tea compared to the black tea.
Green tea is abundant in polyphenol called catechins. cathecins is known to has anti cancer nature. Recent research also showed that catechins can lower body fat accumulation and cholesterol levels.

Green tea will tremendously help burn calories, lower cholesterol and also lightly reduce body fat.

I began to consume it regularly 2 years ago however I still remember the first feeling that I experience when consuming it.

As I was told not to mix it with too many sugar or else the effects would be diminished, I decided to drink it plain. The taste was very bitter for me at that time. However it took me several weeks before I get used to it and enjoy the soothing scent from the tea.

Then I started to taste those packaged, bottled green tea that's flavored with fruit such as: apple or black currant. To my dismay, the taste was so bad that it tasted more like a syrup than a tea. It contains so much sugar to call it a worthy green tea. And the sugar is artificial sugar too which is bad for health. Especi
ally for those who are diabetic.

I begin mixing green tea with natural sweet fruits to have the sweet effect but without making the tea too sweet.
I used a small portion of passion fruit to mix it into a tea. It tasted so delicious and refreshing that I began to drink it regularly, especially during summer.

Here's how I did it:

  • Prepare the green tea in a tall glass. Fill 1/2 of the glass with the tea.
  • Prepare a passion fruit. Open it in the middle and pick two tea spoons of passion fruit and pluck it into your green tea. Fill 1/4 of the glass with unsweetened apple juice.
  • Stir it throughly.
  • Then add ice cubes so that the glass is filled.
  • I garnished it with cherry and lemon skin.

This will make a healthy drinks for your diet and yet still sweet enough to call it delicious.
